Biographical sketch of
EDWARD KRISIUNAS, MT(ASCP), CIC, MPH

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Mr. Krisiunas is President of WNWN (Waste Not, Want Not) International, a consulting firm specializing in the areas of medical waste management, infection control, and occupational safety. He brings over 24 years of experience to the health care and waste management industry. He has been involved in projects at the national and international specifically related to medical waste minimization, evaluation of medical waste treatment technologies, microbiological efficacy testing of medical waste treatment technologies, development of guidance documents on the selection of treatment technologies, and the development and implementation of national medical waste plans for a number of countries. He presently also coordinates an internet based communication list for local, state, federal, and international regulators and consultants involved in medical waste management. His experience includes:

•	Project manager for an evaluation of medical waste treatment technologies for Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

•	Project manger for the evaluation of medical waste treatment technologies for Malta

•	Project manager for the assessment of medical waste management practices for the Hospital Authority, Hong Kong

•	Assessment of medical waste management practices and development of National Medical Waste Management Plans for members of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States and Armenia

•	Medical Waste audits assessments and/or training in numerous facilities domestically and internationally
